Artist-First Approach

I see your child as a unique individual, focusing on the "person behind the keys" to raise a true artist rather than just a student.
Mastery Through Detail

Our private, one-on-one sessions provide the quiet, dedicated attention needed to master technical details that last a lifetime.
Performing Opportunities

I believe that music is meant to be shared. While our weekly lessons are private, I provide two unique ways for our students to connect and celebrate their progress:
Studio Performance Classes
A few times a year, I host intimate "Studio Classes" where 3–4 students gather in our comfortable home studio. These small, low-pressure sessions are a wonderful way for students to practice performing in front of a friendly audience, share the music they’ve been working on, and learn by listening to one another. It’s a favorite time for our students to celebrate each other’s milestones!
Annual Studio Recitals
I am excited to work toward our Yearly Grand Recital, where our entire studio family gathers in a formal setting. This is a special community event where every student has the chance to showcase their growth, build stage confidence, and celebrate a full year of artistic achievement together.
World-Class Goals

For those who thrive with clear goals, I offer full support for RCM certifications. If a student reaches an excellent level of readiness, I may suggest local or international competitions and festivals to see if they are interested.
However, these opportunities are entirely optional. The priority is always a student's personal growth and their love for playing.
The Luxury of a Professional Sound

To truly find your artistic voice, you must learn on an instrument that can sing. At Blooming Piano Studio, students study on a pristine Kawai Grand Piano, which arrived brand-new in Winter 2024. Regularly maintained to professional standards, this instrument allows students to explore the full spectrum of sound colors and touch sensitivity that only a high-quality grand can provide.
Beyond the sound, a sense of wonder is encouraged: students can look inside the piano to see the hammers and strings in action, discovering the fascinating mechanics behind every note. This hands-on exploration helps build a deep technical connection and a refined "ear" for music.
Strong Foundation

Whether your child is inspired by Classical, Jazz, Pop, or Rock, I use a strong classical foundation to unlock every genre, teaching students to read music fluently, understand theory, and even compose their own pieces!
